Little Bethel Memorial Park

Little Bethel Memorial Park

Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville, Texas was founded as Pioneer Cemetery. The land was first used as a cemetery in 1856 when Crawford Trees set aside land for a small child who had died in a mid-winter storm. Between 1856 and 1900, the burial ground was enlarged and clear boundaries were designated. The land was then given to the communities of Cedar Hill and Duncanville.

A small church near the cemetery was called “Little Bethel,” and the name was also given to the burial ground. The original site is still known as the Pioneer Section, and was granted a historical marker through the Dallas Historical Society in 1976.

From the original Pioneer Section on its hilltop, the new sections slope down the hill to the original bronze gate. It is now a perpetual care cemetery comprising 32 acres of land. Little Bethel Memorial Park is now affiliated David Clayton & Sons Funeral Home also in Duncanville.

We have many different and unique memoralization offerings at Little Bethel Memorial Park ranging from ground burial, private family mausoleum, private family estates and now cremation niche columbarium spaces available.  We also offer our double-depth lawn crypts in Court of Ascension.
